General Terms & Conditions
www.merol.com.au website is owned and operated by Merol Australia (NSW BN: BN98528560). By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the terms, conditions and disclaimers herein as amended from time to time. By purchasing an item advertised on this website and/or by completing the enquiry form, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. MEROL AUSTRALIA may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any amendment will become effective immediately. Your continued use of this website after amendment constitutes an agreement to abide by and be bound by those Terms and Conditions, as amended.
MEROL AUSTRALIA offer a 12 month back to base parts & labour warranty from the date of purchase for all new machines purchased directly from us, if they are found by us to be defective under normal use. If making a warranty claim, you must Contact Us to get a Warranty Claim Number (WCN) and attach it to any items returned. Items returned to us without a WCN number will not be accepted. Transit & shipping costs are to be paid by the customer unless the items are found to be ‘Dead On Arrival’ (DOA) in which case MEROL AUSTRALIA will provide instructions when providing a WCN. Additionally, any & all legal consumer rights under the ACL law are available to customers and take precedence over any information our Terms & Conditions may suggest.
Nominated purchases placed directly with MEROL AUSTRALIA may include a risk-free, 7-day satisfaction guarantee (nominated at time of purchase by the customer and agreed by us to be part of the purchase agreement). To qualify for the satisfaction guarantee, upon approval, the product must be returned clean, in original condition, unmarked, in original packaging, with all accessories and contents included. A copy of your invoice/sales receipt and a completed Satisfaction Guarantee Claim Request, which can be requested in writing to Merol Australia, must also be included. The Satisfaction Guarantee Claim Request, along with the returned product must be received by us within 7 calendar days of the original delivery date. If the goods returned are deemed unacceptable by Merol Australia, we reserve the right to reject the Satisfaction Guarantee Request, and you will be obligated to your purchase. In all cases, a $50 restocking fee will apply to all purchases refunded as part of the 7-day satisfaction guarantee. In addition to the $50 restocking fee, a shipping cost of $35 will also be deducted to cover our dispatch costs, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs to our Sydney warehouse. In certain situations, the shipping cost that will be deducted in any refund may exceed $35 if our cost to send the item to you exceeds this amount. This may be the case for items sent to rural areas or locations such as Northern QLD/WA, NT, TAS or other areas. If you have any questions regarding our products, we ask that you please contact our Customer Care Department to ensure that the product is suitable for you before purchasing.
Subject to the ACL, all orders placed are final, and no refunds will be given unless they are available under the ACL. We will honour warranty terms as outlined above. We generally ship items by a courier service from our Sydney warehouse. Delivery generally takes 1 - 7 business days, however we are not liable for delays outside of our control. Subject to your legal rights under the ACL, Postage and handling fees are non-refundable in the event of warranty or satisfaction guarantee claims, however postage will be paid by MEROL AUSTRALIA in the event that goods are received dead on arrival (DOA) as determined by Merol Australia.
Any party engaged in illegal activities involving the use of this website will be subject to civil and criminal sanctions and prosecution. MEROL AUSTRALIA does not guarantee that it will be able to prevent any illegal or inappropriate use of this website, nor that it will give notice of any illegal or inappropriate use of this website. It is an illegal violation to place orders under a false name, with a fraudulently obtained credit card or without the consent of the cardholder. All persons found to have placed a fraudulent order will be prosecuted.
GST (Goods & Services Tax)
Our products and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. All prices advertised are inclusive of all taxes applicable to the respective countries that the product is being delivered in. This is a broad based tax on consumption, which applies to the supply of most goods and services.
